  • How does sign up for a new account?
    1. Open the app and tap the Sign up button.
    2. On the next page, fill in your account information (name, username, email address, and password).
    3. 3.After entering your name, you can choose from one of the suggested usernames, or type in an available username of your choosing.

    Note: If you provided an email address when signing up, we'll send you a confirmation email. You must confirm your email address in order for it to be fully associated with your Twitter account so you can receive important notifications from us regarding your account.

    1. In the top menu, you will either see a navigation menu icon or your profile icon. Tap whichever icon you have.
    2. Tap Profile.
    3. Tap Edit profile.
    4. Make the changes you'd like, then tap Save.

    Note: You can also access your drafts by tapping into the composer box, then tapping the Tweet compose icon within the box. This icon will only show when you have draft.

    Note: If your Tweet is a reply, the icon to post will say Reply. When posted, the @username in your Tweet will become a link to the account's profile page.

    5. Next to Highlights, drag the slider to turn the feature on.
    You'll receive push notifications when your Highlights are available. Slide the notification to open your Twitter app and view your Highlights timeline.
    Note: Highlights is available for people who use iOS on versions 6.61 or higher.

    3. Tap Mobile notifications.
    4. Check the box next to Highlights.
    You'll receive push notifications when your Highlights are ready. Tap the notification to open your Twitter app and view your Highlights displayed in full screen mode. Swipe left to navigate through your Highlights.

    To access Highlights while in your Twitter for Android app: Tap the navigation menu icon or your profile icon , then tap Highlights.

    Note: Highlights is available for Android users on version 5.55 or higher. For the best Highlights experience, we recommend version 5.73 or higher.
